Managing Director

Jenny is a professional actor, singer and stage manager. She grew up around Cochrane and Bragg Creek, and happily moved back to Cochrane in 2021. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of British Columbia. She is passionate about working with young people and helping inspire them to create and love theatre!
Her professional experience has led her across Alberta, BC, Ontario and Italy, performing and running workshops in schools. She also works as an artist in residence in schools, working with students to create and perform their own plays from scratch in one week. She believes in a full body physical approach to acting, and she continuously seeks out workshops in physical theatre, devising, and clown to enhance her skills in these areas.
Outside of theatre, you can find Jenny on the mats training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or spending time with her husband, her son, and her adorable puppy.

Shelby Pfeiffer - Reinitz
Shelby is an award-winning director, actor and playwright practicing in Mohkinstis. She has been grateful to work with companies such as DIY Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, StoryBook Theatre, Sage Theatre and The Shakespeare Company on various productions including Million Dollar Quartet, Bombay Black, The Lightning Thief, and Constellations.
Shelby is also a classically trained musician with over 15 years of experience teaching voice and piano. She has recently begun utilizing these skills Musical Directing for various projects including Love’s Heavy Burden (The Shakespeare Company) and Sense & Sensibility (Canmore Summer Theatre Festival), and is currently completing a certificate program from Berklee College of Music.
When she’s not working either behind the scenes or on stage, you can usually find her hanging out with her husband and their two dogs.
Kianna King
Kianna King, raised in Calgary Alberta is a recent graduate of the Canadian College Of Performing Arts' Company C program and the Company of Rogues Master Class Acting Program. She is a Finnish Canadian Artist, who wears her identity honourably and is proud to help represent her people in the arts with the Finnish spirit of Sisu.Kianna is a passionate, inventive and bubbly performer, who works everyday to further her career and connect others to the arts through theatre, film and voice over work while embracing her heritage. From theatric roles like Crutchie in Disney's Newsies to Sue Snell in Carrie the Musical, Kianna is always taking on new challenges with the unbreakable spirit of a Finn and an open heart, just as her family taught her. Not only is Kianna a theatre nerd, but a film actor with credits from The Abandons (Netflix), Collective Unconscious (Thunder Lizard), Mayr (Sun Crossed Productions and Triality (Chance Productions). She is currently based in Calgary AB Canada, working primarily in the film industry. Kianna is beyond excited to be teaching for Sleeping Giants, and can't wait to meet all the wonderful actors coming to class!
